Socially Useful Productive Work is part of B.Ed., programme . Well trained persons in the field of art and craft are invited to guide the Prospective Teachers to make socially useful products and crafts. A record should be maintained and the products should be exhibited in the final practical commission.

Last year Rev.Sr.Anthoniyammal Sewing Mistress, conducted one day workshop on SUPW to Self Help Group, Thanjavur. They were taught to prepare many useful things such as Washing powder, Asafoetida, Phenyl, Omam Water, Shampoo, Candles, etc.

The Prospective Teachers were also demonstrated and trained to make useful objects, such as Paper Flower, Paper Bird and other Paper oriented products.
