For B.Ed. programme UG Degree qualification is considered for admission, Economics and Commerce students need PG qualification. For M.Ed., programme merit on the qualifying B.Ed., examination is taken into consideration for admission.  The candidates in B.Ed., and M.Ed., course are selected through state government policy and the selected candidates are intimated through letters and published by college bulletin board. At thetime ofinterview the provisionally selected candidate should produce all the required original certificates for verification. In admission procedure, those who secure same mark, first preference gives to rural students below poverty line.  The selected B.Ed. and M.Ed., candidates name list is forwarded to the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai to got eligible cum admission.
